The dramatic red rock landscape of Sedona doesn’t only look amazing, it’s also home to red clay that has powerful detoxifying and anti-inflammatory properties.
At Mii amo, a destination spa at the Enchantment Resort, Sedona Clay Wraps are a combination of red clay and cocoa powder that is therapeutic and aromatic, as well  as softening for your whole body. Another locally inspired treatment at this Arizona spa is the Blue Corn Body Polish, an idea borrowed from Native Americans who used ground corn to cleanse and purify their skin. The 60-minute treatment begins with a full-body scrub using a blend of blue corn, mineral salt crystals and oil. It is rinsed off by multiple showerheads while you stay relaxed, lying on a table.
Afterwards, you can amble back across the lawn to your private casita at Enchantment for a nap. And when you feel like moving a muscle, you’ll find all the resort-y diversions at your fingertips including a pool, tennis courts, a golf course and plenty of red rock landscape to hike through.
