Here’s the must-have ski gadget this winter, at least at Jackson Hole in Wyoming.
JH Tapped is a new GPS iPhone application developed for the ski resort which uses the iPhone’s built-in GPS to locate the user and their friends on the official Jackson Hole trail map.
This app allows users to pinpoint their location on the actual Jackson Hole trail map, not a hard-to-read topographical or satellite map. It also logs the user's runs and vertical feet travelled.
JH Tapped is the first app tailored to an individual resort, making it a must have tool for any visitor looking to maximize the Jackson Hole experience.
It also provides current weather and snow conditions, resort webcam views, a real-time lift-status information, and a built-in directory for Teton Village services.
